Barbera d'Asti DOCG

Barbera d'Asti is an intense wine with character, with an intense ruby ​​red colour. It has strong notes of red fruits on the nose and spicy hints on the palate.

Barbera d'Asti goes very well with all the typical dishes of the Piedmontese tradition, in particular with second courses based on meat and game. Thanks to its acidity and structure, it can perfectly accompany fresh and strong cheeses, but also particularly demanding structured dishes.

Barbera is the "wine of meats" and great lunches, an excellent companion for festive dinners and lunches, such as Christmas, New Year's Eve, Epiphany or Easter. A good occasion for consumption can be, for example, the one with lentils and zampone, or with roast wild boar. Thanks to its gustatory harmony, Barbera can also be a meditation wine that can help reasoning and accompany thoughts of all kinds.
